Two Men Charged After Balcony Fall

Police have charged with two men with assault after a man fell from a first storey balcony in Glen Innes.

Emergency services were called to a block of flats last night, where neighbours heard yelling and screaming coming from outside.

The two men were arrested last night and held in custody before they appeared in the Auckland District Court today on assault charges.

The man who fell from the balcony remains in a critical condition in Auckland Hospital as a result of the fall.
