Charges Possible After Baby Drowns in Bath

Police say it is unclear whether charges will be laid against a West Auckland mother after one of her twin daughters died after being left in the bath.

The desperate 21-year-old mother tried to frantically revive her 11-month-old daughter after finding her floating face down in the bath next to her twin sister last week.

The baby spent five days in Starship Hospital before her life support was turned off.
